The Voices program is in search of a Program Director for 2019-2020. Voices serves as a multimedia journalism training fellowship for college and graduate students, as well as a leadership program for mid-career journalists who serve as faculty. The program is a recruiting tool to increase diversity in newsrooms and takes place annually during the week of the AAJA national convention.

AAJA is holding a special election to fill the remainder of Ramy Inocencio’s 2019 term as AAJA Vice President of Journalism Programs. Ramy was recently elected to serve as AAJA Senior Vice President for the 2019 term.
Ramy Inocencio was elected by AAJA members to serve as Senior Vice President for the 2019 term beginning January 1, 2019. The special election was held to fill the remainder of Michelle Lee’s term as Senior Vice President, as Michelle was elected to serve as National President for the 2019-2020 term.
