Fact-check articles for monthly consumer travel magazine and other editorial content, digital, online, and print at a fast pace and under deadline pressure. Approximately fact-checking 7-12 pages per month, including photographs. Create and fact-check 1-2 maps per month. Undertake general research on a range of travel subjects, from destinations to industry business and trends. Perform other job-related duties like helping to update the research guide, organizing the libraries, and contributing to the blog. Journalist/editorial background preferred. At least one foreign language fluency required.
35-40 hours per week, during magazine closing weeks. Flexible hours/scheduling during non-close weeks.
