AAJA-NY November Chapter Meeting Minutes

AAJA Meeting

November 12, 2013

Ta Nur Nog, 315 W. 39th St.

1. Upcoming events

A. ONA-Newscred-NatGeo Holiday Mixer

Dec 6. Probably will be $15 per person. AAJA-NY is an invitee and not part of any sponsorship. Being spearheaded by Yvonne Leow

B. Holiday party for AAJA-NY

Aiming for 2nd week of December

*Cat to lock up date, venue by the end of this week.

Linking the holiday party with fundraising event for victims of Typhoon Haiyan. Need to find the right organization to partner with on fundraiser.

Woodside has a Philippines forum group, says Corky.

Ask any group if the money goes into an escrow account? Legal fees  could drain the account.

Once we get the details when, where, what organization by the end of this week, then follow up with logistics, execution
