AAJA is now accepting proposals for workshops and presenters. AAJA invites its members, media companies, journalism educational institutions and the Asian American and Pacific Islander community to submit workshop proposals for the 2009 National Convention which will be held Aug. 12-15 in Boston.

J Camp
Brings together a multicultural group of high school students to sharpen their journalism skills and learn how their cultural values impact their professional development. J Camp Live! 2008.

Student Projects
Provide students with hands-on experience in news production and reporting.

Scholarships
Every year, AAJA offers scholarships to outstanding undergraduate and graduate students.

AAJA internships provide opportunities and grants to students pursuing journalism careers.

Participants in this five-day program gain an understanding of the corporate environment and the role of leadership in the newsroom. Deadline December 30.

Fellowships
AAJA offers fellowships to members to help attend short-term professional training programs. NAA Minority Fellowship. Deadline December 1.

Mentor Programs
AAJA offers mentorships to encourage members to share their expertise by becoming a mentor or develop professional skills by requesting a mentor.
